This project seeks to strengthen the research and social innovation program on the medicinal uses of coca and other controlled species to build a dynamic, equitable, and legal bio-economy.
In doing so, the project seeks to benefit vulnerable regions of immense biocultural value, weakens the illicit economy, supports the substitution of uses, and contributes to face significant challenges in global public health.
Your support of this effort will help the University seek and help vulnerable regions facing a systemic issue that has turned a once medicinal plant into a dangerous illicit commodity.
