Congreso Visible is the legislative observatory of the Universidad de los Andes, established in 1998. This is the most complete open-source on the Congress of the Republic. The observatory has collected and analyzed information on legislative activity to strengthen and promote citizen participation in accountability processes for congressmen. Visible Congress works to create a communication bridge between citizens and their representatives. In the same way, it seeks to promote knowledge of the Congress of the Republic and, in general, of our democratic system by providing analysis and pertinent, organized, and easily accessible information for citizens, researchers, and academics of Colombia and the world.
